Additional Rights for Residents of U.S. States
Depending on where you reside in the United States, certain state privacy laws may apply to the processing of your Personal Information. Note that not all state privacy laws apply to Pinch & Prosper, and Pinch & Prosper is not currently responding to privacy requests in relation to laws to which it is not currently subject.
The following rights may apply to the processing of your Personal Information if you reside in a state with an applicable privacy law:

California Privacy Notice
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (“CCPA”) provides you with specific rights regarding your Personal Information. This section of our Policy contains certain information and informs California residents of certain rights arising under the CCPA (the “CCPA Notice”). Note that not all state privacy laws apply to Pinch & Prosper, and Pinch & Prosper is not currently responding to privacy requests in relation to laws to which it is not currently subject.
As part of those requirements, the CCPA requires businesses to explain whether they “sell” or “share” the Personal Information of California residents. The CCPA defines these terms very broadly. “Sale” includes sales of data in the historical sense of data brokerage or selling lists of customer details for money – which we DO NOT DO -- but it also may include virtually any exchange or transfer of data (including Usage Data) in relation to widely-used internet technologies like data analytics and advertising. These “sales” may occur, for example, when a vendor collects Usage Data via cookies on a business’s website and uses it to serve ads for various websites, an exchange that benefits the vendor and the business in some way – even if the Usage Data cannot directly identify an individual and the business is not “actively” providing the data to the vendor. “Sharing” is just a certain type of such transfer, and refers to targeted advertising, another common practice.
In light of this explanation: we will never sell your Personal Information for money. Our website’s advertising capabilities may technically be considered “sharing” of Personal Information as defined under applicable privacy laws. If at any point our practices change to involve the sale of Personal Information, we will notify you and, if necessary, obtain your consent. We do not knowingly sell the Personal Information of minors under age 16.
We may have collected the following categories of Personal Information from you within the last twelve (12) months:
- Identifiers — such as name/nickname, or email address.
- Unique and online identifiers –- such as internet protocol address or device IDs.
- Personal Information Categories Listed in The California Customer Records Statute (Cal. Civ. Code §1798.80(e)) – such as signature, financial information if you choose to input such data to the applicable Services (plans, calculations, etc.) and by our Payments Service Provider as needed for processing payments.
- Commercial information — such as records of products or services purchased.
- Demographic information and/or characteristics of protected classifications — such as (optionally) age, marital status, income levels, and language preferences.
- Internet or other electronic network activity information — such as Usage Data.
- Geolocation information (e.g., based on IP address).
- Inferences, such as preferences and behaviors.
- Professional, employment or education information — only if you choose to input such data to the applicable Services in relation to defining your income sources.
- Sensitive Personal Information — e.g., account credentials when you create an account; otherwise, we store sensitive personal information only if you choose to input such data to the applicable Services (plans, calculations, etc.), such as certain financial information or minors’ personal information. This information is stored in the Services solely for your convenience and is not used in Pinch & Prosper’s calculations.
