Frequently Asked Questions
What types of Assets, Liabilities, Income Sources, and Goals can we capture?
The selection varies based on the home country for each plan. For Multi-Region plans; also called ‘Expat’ plans for those planning live abroad; you can use a mix of record types from each country
Assets range from generic to country-specific banking, retirements, savings, and investment accounts
For example… In Vietnam, you may wish to capture your accounts for Flexible Savings Account (Tiền gửi tích lũy), Premium/Wealth Management Account (Tài khoản ưu tiên), Supplementary Voluntary Pension Account (Tier 3) (Tài khoản hưu trí bổ sung), etc.
Liabilities range from common expenses like groceries and utilities, but also include more specific concerns like insurance, homeowner fees, and more
For example… In Vietnam, you might capture payments for Public/Social Health Insurance (VSS), membership fees for S&R, along with more typical things like spending at your local Grocery (Siêu thị), Corner Store (Tạp hóa), etc.
Income Sources range from Job income and pensions to side-hustles
For example… In Vietnam, you could account for income from Social Pension (Non-Contributory, Tier 1), Contributory Old-Age Pension (Tier 2), Contributory Disability Pension (Tier 2), income from your private pension, etc.
Goals range from holiday savings, travel expenses, and opportunities to prepare for surprise expenses

Do I need to link my bank accounts?
No, and we don’t recommend connecting your financial accounts to any service. While it may save a little time, it’s not worth the risk. Keep your records safe and secure
How many of my details are required?
The more you put into your plan the more realistic the results will be. We encourage members to take the time to add as many of the incoming and outgoing financial and benefit concerns as they have (or can predict). With that said… We do not need any personal details about your identity and there is no need to supply information on your personal financial accounts, keep those details safe
Do I need a professional Financial Advisor?
The legal and practical definition of a ‘Financial Advisor’ varies widely from country to country so make sure you have a clear view of the term as you navigate the topic. Depending on the complexity of your situation; if you feel like you cannot handle your own Plans; you might want to find Professional assistance. Regardless, you’ll still need to gather your details and become informed on key topics and concerns so you can ensure your Plans are handled reasonably.
